A high-end refuge in an area just a little set back from the hustle and bustle of the Marais and Republique, this is a very relaxing bookshop-coffeeshop that's warm, inviting and screams of Italy. I highly recommend the cardomon coffee and the carrot cake (although the very sizeable slab will set you back 6 euros 50, so worth going halves with a friend.)
Their emphasis on organic produce is highly commendable. Worth coming back for the weekend brunch menu at 21 euros, but the weekday lunch menu, concocted daily by chef Francesca, also deserves a special mention.
You come wearing your best bobo outfit, with a friend or by yourself, and enjoy the attention to detail and the Italian friendliness.
