If you like the Breizh Cafe, but are looking for something a little smarter, a little sharper, somewhere where you might have to put on a nice pair of shoes, this is the spot.
Just off the bustle of boulevard Saint Germain and open seven days a week, this is a creperie (pancake joint) at its most upmarket. The products are sourced in Brittany and priority is given to organic or sustainable producers. Particular mention has to go to the extensive list of ciders, and the cellars in which they are kept!
As you can see from the photos, I had a "complet" savoury galette as my main course (egg, ham and cheese) and the delicious pomme-poire pancake with a coffee to finish.
The very reasonable weekday lunch menu is most appealing, but also note-worthy is the brunch menu (35€) available on Saturday and Sunday. Definitely gets my thumbs up.
