If you know anything about Paris restaurants you have probably heard of Yves Camdeborde... You may have queued to eat at the Comptoir du Relais, in Saint-Germain/Odeon... You may even be a regular at the Avant Comptoir just next door (because you gave up trying to get a place in the restaurant!)
From the 15th November until the 5th of January, the highlight of the Champs Elysées Christmas Market will be the Yves Camdeborde pop-up restaurant: Le Comptoir du Marché.
Offering a similar proposition to the Avant Comptoir, there will be over 15 small dishes to choose from (foie gras macarons, anyone..?), as well as oysters from Joel Dupuch, wine, lots of great wine and live music. Cozy and warm - and reasonably priced - this 400 square metre wooden chalet promises to be big hit this season.
With the long wooden tables ready to seat 12-14 people, it's a great place to come as a group or with the family. Also, if you're looking for something to do as a date - start at the Big Wheel at Concorde, make your way up the Christmas Market along the Champs Elysées and finish up here for some food, wine and music.
Open every day from 11am until midnight.
Between the Petit Palais and Place de la Concorde.
