Here were my top picks for September:
What I'm drinking:
Autumn has hit and so to do my best to counter-act the morning chill, I'm resorting back to my very English roots with a cup of Lady Grey (and possibly a biscuit, if you're sharing...?)
What I'm eating:
The best part of a 'baguette tradition' smeltered with butter and honey.
Preferred Drinking Establishment:
The café "Black Market" on the rue Ramey 75018. Coffee sourced from the ever-trendy Coutume, food from the wonderful Emperor Norton duo, it's great to have a new address for good coffee in the 18th.
Hot-Potato-Hot Foodie Address:
Oh gosh, what to choose! I suppose my number one is the new restaurant from Ann-Sophie Pic, called la Dame de Pic, just opposite the Louvre. Even just from the wine list, it promises to be seriously good.
And in the press...
Word is that Taillevent are soon to be starting a Wine Academy. Not satisfied with the gastro restaurant, the brasserie, the shop and also the wine bar where there are 110 wines available by the glass, the same owners are looking to expand into the world of tastings, lessons, conferences and presentations with winemakers.... expected for the start of 2013.
