A traditional English pub in Paris. Not an Irish pub, not a Scottish pub, not even a French pub pretending to be "anglo-saxon", this is actually the real deal.
At full price, it's not cheap - but the Happy Hour (offering a pint of draught beer or cider for 5 euros) all weekend is not going to break the bank... nor is their 10 euro brunch from 1pm-3.30pm.
Dark wood traditional tables, wooden chairs and stools, a good choice of English newspapers and English-speaking barmaids, if it's a taste of home that you're craving, this would deftly knock that on the head.
The big pull of this place for me at the moment is that they are showing every Six Nations rugby match on the many screens dotted all the way round the pub. Apparently they also show most of the major sporting fixtures - including the cricket! That means this is now my #1 go-to place for (English) sport.
P.S. One little criticism, I would like to see a greater choice of beers and ciders on tap!
